Different forms of this condition can cause different symptoms, but most people experience some sort of joint pain, swelling, tenderness, or stiffness. Even though there is no cure for arthritis, many treatment options are available to help eliminate joint pain and to improve joint function. Common treatments may include medications, other pain-relief options (such as massage), exercise, and surgery.
