Arthrotec Medication Information

Adults who have rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis may receive Arthrotec® (diclofenac/misoprostol). This combination medication also contains a drug that can help prevent stomach or intestinal ulcers that Arthrotec may cause in some people.
 
This drug comes as a tablet that is taken two to four times daily. You should take each dose at the same times each day and also take these tablets with food. Although most people tolerate this drug well, side effects may occur and can include diarrhea, indigestion, and nausea.
