Living With Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis is a condition that is unlike other forms of arthritis, in that it typically occurs in a symmetrical pattern. For example, if one knee is affected by it, the other one usually will be as well. Symptoms typically include pain, swelling, and stiffness in the affected joints. Women tend to have it more often than men, and the disease often begins in middle age.
