 meloxicam) is a drug used to treat swelling, inflammation, and pain caused by various forms of arthritis. It is only available with a prescription and is approved for use in adults and children as young as two years old.

Mobic comes in tablet and liquid form. It is important to take the lowest effective dose for the least amount of time in order to treat your condition. This will decrease the chances of serious side effects occurring.
 
Although the medicine is generally well tolerated, it is not the best choice for everyone. Before taking Mobic, make sure your healthcare provider has up-to-date information on your medical history and a list of your current medications. In particular, make sure to let your healthcare provider know if you have diabetes, heart disease, or high blood pressure. Possible side effects include heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea.
