Celebrex® (
celecoxib) is a medication that is frequently used for acute pain,
arthritis, and painful menstrual periods. It is made by Pfizer, Inc., and is currently available only in brand-name form.

- Celebrex 400 mg.
The recommended starting dosage for most people with acute pain or painful menstruation is 400 mg of Celebrex, followed by another 200 mg, if needed, on the first day. After the first day, the recommended dose is 200 mg, twice a day, as needed.
Your dosage can be taken with or without food. However, people taking 400 mg twice daily should take it with food.
