Daypro® is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug used to reduce pain, inflammation, swelling, or stiffness caused by different forms of arthritis. By blocking the effects of hormones called prostaglandins, the medicine is effective in treating symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Daypro is available in caplet form and is typically taken once a day.
