Daypro? Dapro is a common misspelling of Daypro.

Daypro® is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug used to reduce pain, inflammation, swelling, or stiffness caused by different forms of arthritis. By blocking the effects of hormones called prostaglandins, the medicine is effective in treating symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

Daypro is available in caplet form and is typically taken once a day. Possible side effects include heartburn, diarrhea, and gas. Some people are more likely to experience side effects than others, which is why it's important to tell your doctor about any other medications you are taking (including vitamins and supplements) and any other medical conditions you have.

(Click Daypro to read the complete eMedTV article, which provides a detailed overview on this drug, including possible side effects, dosing guidelines, and more. You can also click any of the links in the box to the right for specific information.)
