Drug Interactions With Diclofenac Sodium Extended-Release

When certain medicines are taken together, it's possible to have negative drug interactions. With diclofenac sodium extended-release, other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen and naproxen, and corticosteroids, like prednisone and hydrocortisone, can affect how the body metabolizes these drugs. Drug interactions with diclofenac sodium extended-release can reduce the effectiveness of some medicines, raise the risk of stomach ulcers, and increase the risk of bleeding.
