Drug Interactions With Diclofenac Sodium Extended-Release

If you are taking diclofenac sodium extended-release, interactions could occur if you combine the medication with products such as other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as ibuprofen and naproxen) and corticosteroids (such as prednisone and hydrocortisone). Drug interactions can reduce the effectiveness of some medicines, raise the risk of stomach ulcers, and increase the risk of bleeding.
