An Introduction to Dosing With Duexis
There is only one standard dosage for
Duexis™ (
ibuprofen/famotidine), regardless of your age, weight, or any other factors. As is always the case, do not adjust your dosage unless your healthcare provider specifically tells you to do so.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for the next dose. In this case, you should simply skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
General Information for Taking Duexis
Some considerations to keep in mind during treatment with Duexis include the following:
- Duexis comes as a tablet that is taken three times a day.
- Swallow the tablets whole; do not crush, cut, chew, or dissolve them.
- For the medication to work properly, it must be taken as prescribed.
