Gengraf for Psoriasis

The prescription drug Gengraf® (cyclosporine) is approved to treat severe plaque psoriasis in people who otherwise have normal immune systems. It is only approved for use after at least one other treatment has failed, or in people who cannot take other medicines for this condition.

When using this medicine for psoriasis, keep in mind that Gengraf may improve symptoms, but it will not cure the condition. Once you stop taking this medicine, you can expect your psoriasis symptoms to return within 4 to 16 weeks.
