Were you looking for information about Imuran? Imuron is a common misspelling of Imuran.
Imuran® (azathioprine) is available by prescription and is used to prevent organ rejection following a kidney transplant and to treat the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. It is not entirely clear how the drug works, but it is thought that it mostly works by suppressing the immune system. Imuran is not suitable for everyone. A few of the conditions you should let your healthcare provider know about before taking it include a blood disorder, any infection, or if you have taken chemotherapy medications in the past.
(Click Imuran to learn about possible side effects, dosing information, and other existing medical conditions you should tell your healthcare provider about prior to using the medication.)
