Were you looking for information about Indomethacin? Indomethicin is a common misspelling of indomethacin.

Indomethacin (Indocin®) is a prescription drug approved for treating symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and other conditions. By blocking the effects of prostaglandins (hormones that cause pain and inflammation) in the body, this medication can help reduce pain, inflammation, and joint swelling associated with different forms of arthritis and painful conditions. While most people tolerate indomethacin well, potential side effects include indigestion or heartburn, fatigue, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
