Kineret (Cont.)

What If I Take an Overdose of Kineret?

There have been no reported cases of Kineret overdose. In studies, very high doses (up to 35 times the recommended dosage) did not cause any serious problems. However, if you happen to take too much Kineret, contact your healthcare provider right away.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your Kineret as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.

Available Strengths

Kineret comes in prefilled syringes (with needles attached), each containing 100 mg of medication. These syringes are sold in packs containing 28 syringes (a four-week supply).

Is There a Generic Version of Kineret?

Currently, there is no generic version of Kineret licensed for sale (see Generic Kineret).
