Lodine XL Precautions and Warnings
There are many important Lodine XL precautions and warnings that you should be aware of before taking the medication. Prior to starting Lodine XL, be sure to tell your healthcare provider if you have diabetes, heart disease, or bleeding problems. Certain people should not take the drug, including those who are breastfeeding, have an active bleeding condition, or are allergic to any components used in making Lodine XL.
Lodine XL: What Should I Tell My Healthcare Provider?
Let your healthcare provider know if you:
- Are pregnant or thinking about becoming pregnant
- Are breastfeeding
- Drink alcohol frequently
- Smoke
- Are having or have recently had heart surgery.
Also, tell your healthcare provider about all other medicines you may currently be taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
