Lodine XL Side Effects

Some people may develop side effects or complications while taking Lodine XL. Side effects that are most commonly reported include stomach pain, sore throat, and weakness. There are also more severe Lodine XL side effects that may indicate a serious problem. These side effects include allergic reactions, unexplained weight gain, congestive heart failure, or unusual bleeding. They should be reported to a healthcare provider immediately.

 

Lodine XL Side Effects: An Introduction

As with any medicine, there are possible side effects with Lodine® XL (etodolac extended-release), but not everyone who takes the drug will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate Lodine XL well. When side effects do occur, in many cases they are minor, meaning they require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. Up to 10 percent of people stopped taking Lodine XL because of side effects.
