Arthritis Home > Flurbiprofen Tablets

Available in the form of a tablet, flurbiprofen (Ansaid®) is a prescription drug used to relieve mild-to-moderate pain, inflammation, fever, and/or stiffness caused by osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. It belongs to a class of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs for short.
This medication comes in two strengths and can be taken two, three, or four times a day, depending on what your healthcare provider recommends. Though generally well tolerated, flurbiprofen has the potential to cause a number of side effects, such as constipation, dizziness, and diarrhea.
