Arthritis Home > Vimovo Drug Interactions

Some Protease Inhibitors
Vimovo may decrease the level of atazanavir or nelfinavir in the blood. It may increase the level of saquinavir in the blood. If you take a protease inhibitor, check with your healthcare provider before taking Vimovo. In many situations, Vimovo will not be recommended.
Taking SSRI and SNRI medications with NSAIDs (like Vimovo) may increase the risk for bleeding. Check with your healthcare provider before combining such medications.

Final Thoughts

It is possible that not all interactions with Vimovo were discussed in this article. Therefore, you should talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about specific interactions that may apply to you.
