Mobic (Meloxicam) Drug Information

Mobic® (meloxicam) is a medicine used to reduce swelling, inflammation, and pain. It is only available by prescription, and is approved for adults and children (as young as two years old). Mobic is part of a class of medications called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs for short, and works by inhibiting the action of certain hormones in the body that cause inflammation and pain.

Although generally well tolerated, this drug is not suitable for everyone.
