Mobic® (meloxicam) is a pain reliever that is available with a prescription. It comes in the form of tablets or a liquid and is approved to treat the symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and juvenile arthritis.

For osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis symptoms, the recommended starting dose is Mobic 7.5 mg once a day. If symptoms do not improve, your doctor may recommend increasing the amount. The maximum recommended daily dosage for treating these conditions is 15 mg. When treating juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, the maximum recommended dosage is 7.5 mg of Mobic per day.
