Mobic and Children

If you have pain or inflammation caused by certain conditions, you may benefit from Mobic® (meloxicam). This medication is only available with a prescription and comes in the form of tablets or a liquid. It is approved for use in adults and children.
 
When treating juvenile arthritis symptoms in children, Mobic should not be used in children younger than two years old.
 
As a type of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), Mobic is useful for relieving:
 
  • Pain
  • Inflammation
  • Swelling
  • Stiffness.
