Mobic Strengths

Mobic® (meloxicam) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain and other symptoms caused by osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.
This medication is only available with a prescription and comes in the form of tablets or a liquid. There are several strengths of Mobic available, including:
  • Mobic 7.5 mg tablets
  • Mobic 15 mg tablets
  • Mobic 7.5 mg/5 mL oral suspension (liquid) -- 1 teaspoon (5 mL) contains 7.5 mg of Mobic.
Before prescribing a specific strength, your healthcare provider will consider several factors, such as your age and weight, other medications you are taking, and other medical conditions you may have.
