Ponstel Side Effects: An Overview
As with any medicine, there are possible side effects with
Ponstel® (
mefenamic acid). However, not everyone who takes Ponstel will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate Ponstel well. When side effects do occur, they are generally minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider.
There are also several factors that seem to affect the chances of developing side effects, including a person's:
- Dosage of Ponstel
- Age
- Other medical conditions
- Current medicines.
