Remicade Drug Interactions

When other medications, such as live vaccinations, etanercept, or anakinra, are taken with Remicade, drug interactions can occur. Some of these interactions can increase your risk of infections or cause you to become infected with the virus or bacteria contained in live vaccinations. If Remicade drug interactions are a concern, you may be advised to avoid certain medications if you are taking the drug.

Anakinra
Taking Remicade with anakinra can increase your risk of infection. In general, these two medications should not be taken together.
 
Etanercept
Combining Remicade with etanercept can increase your risk of infection. In general, these two medications should not be taken together.
