Remicade Drug Interactions

Certain medications, such as live vaccinations, etanercept, or anakinra, can cause drug interactions with Remicade. Some of these interactions can increase your risk of infections or cause you to become infected with the virus or bacteria contained in live vaccinations. If drug interactions are a concern, you may be advised to avoid certain medications while taking Remicade.

Anakinra
Taking Remicade with anakinra can increase your risk of infection. In general, these two medications should not be taken together.
 
Etanercept
Combining Remicade with etanercept can increase your risk of infection. In general, these two medications should not be taken together.
