Uloric Side Effects

Side Effects to Report

Some side effects with Uloric are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. Although generally rare, some of these side effects may actually be fairly common. These include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Chest pain or other heart attack symptoms
  • Sudden confusion; numbness in the arms, legs, or face; or other stroke symptoms
  • Signs of liver problems, such as yellowing of the whites of the eyes or skin, dark urine, or increased liver enzymes (found using a blood test)
  • Easy bruising or bleeding
  • Frequent or persistent infections
  • Signs of an allergic reaction, such as:

 

    • An unexplained rash
    • Itching
    • Hives
    • Swelling of the mouth or throat
    • Wheezing
    • Difficulty breathing.

 

Rare Uloric Side Effects

There are other, rare Uloric side effects that can occur. In clinical studies, these side effects occurred in less than 1 percent of people taking Uloric. For these side effects, it is difficult to tell whether the side effect is caused by Uloric or something else.
