Zarelto Contraindications

Were you looking for information about Xarelto Warnings and Precautions? Zarelto contraindications is a common misspelling of Xarelto contraindications.

Rivaroxaban (Xarelto®) is a prescription medication approved to prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT, also known as blood clots) from developing after a knee or hip replacement. It also prevents blood clots and strokes in people with an irregular heart rhythm known as atrial fibrillation. Most recently, it was also approved for the treatment of blood clots (as well as to prevent such clots from recurring).

Although this medicine can be effective for preventing potentially serious blood clots, it is not safe for everyone. People who are allergic to the ingredients in the medicine should not take Xarelto. Contraindications also apply to people who have active, major bleeding.
