Zydone Use in Children

Zydone is not approved for use in children. This does not mean your child's healthcare provider cannot prescribe it for your child; it simply means that the drug has not been adequately studied or approved for use in children. Talk with your child's healthcare provider about the risks and benefits of using Zydone in children.
 

Off-Label Zydone Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Zydone for something other than pain. Off-label Zydone uses include treatment of insomnia or coughing. These off-label uses are not considered legitimate by most healthcare professionals, however, as more appropriate medications are available to treat such conditions.
